Job Title: Senior Systems Engineer

Job Description:
As a Compute Systems Engineer, you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on this role to maintain HRSA's Hosting, Network, Security, Server, Identity and Access Management, and Tier II Operations in support of the HRSA mission.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 24x7x365 infrastructure operations support serving in on-call rotation
- Hybrid Environment (Azure and on-prem) / Experience in Azure required
- Working within team for successful completion of all tasks within the Statement of Work for assigned area of responsibility. That includes: Network, Security, DNS, DHCP, VOIP, Identity and Access Management, and Server Operations.
- Will review monitoring tools to identify trends and proactive identification of potential customer impacting events.
- Recommending changes to processes or procedures to improve efficiency or reduce costs in future projects.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software with IT infrastructure.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Clearance:
- Must be able to obtain a Position of Trust and successfully pass a thorough Government background screening process requiring the completion of detailed forms and fingerprinting.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated ability to support a 24x7x365 environment and work in on-call rotation
- Bachelor’s degree in related field. Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
- 7-10 years of related experience
- 6+ years of experience working in a Hybrid (Azure/On-Prem) Application hosting environment technologies such as: Administration, Vulnerability Remediation, Security Compliance, Performance Monitoring/Tuning
- Windows
- 7 – 10 years with Active Directory including experience with FMSO (Flexible Single Master Operations), Sites & Services, Group Policies, Advanced troubleshooting of AD related issues, DNS/AD DNS, Quest products, Recover Manager, Active Roles, Change Auditor, and ADFS
- 3 – 5 years with DNS/AD DNS
- 2 – 5 years with Quest products
- Recovery Manager for AD
- Active Roles
- Change Auditor
- 1 - 3 years with ADFS
- 2 – 5 years with PowerShell scripting
- 3-5 years with Infoblox
- 1-3 years with CyberArk
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Experience with technical implementation documents and SOPs
DESIRED SKILLS:
- ServiceNow
- SolarWinds
- Tanium
- Advanced knowledge of ADFS and implementation experience
- RHEL Linux OS
- Splunk
