Job Title: Deputy Program Manager
Job Location: Arlington, VA
Clearance: TS/SCI
Seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to provide support on a
highly classified program based out of Arlington, VA. This role is in
support of a Program Management Office (PMO) and involves assisting in a
wide range of functions including scheduling, fiscal management, budget
planning, acquisition, administration, product support, requirements
development and tracking, and systems engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in the management and execution of task orders, ensuring timely
and efficient delivery of services.
-Support acquisition processes and contract negotiations to secure
necessary services
-Facilitate and oversee agreements to ensure compliance and alignment
with program goals.
-Coordinate and manage projects and tasks to ensure successful
completion.
-Oversee administrative functions to ensure smooth office operations.
-Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and cost estimation processes.
-Support procurement activities and manage program assets.
-Implement and manage processes for continuous improvement.
-Assist in developing and implementing strategic plans to guide program
direction.
-Support the development and management of systems engineering processes
and documentation.
-Assist in the development and management of system requirements.
-Produce technical documentation to support program activities.
-Develop and deliver training programs to enhance system knowledge.
-Manage product lifecycle and support activities.
-Develop strategies and policies to support program objectives.
-Facilitate working groups to ensure effective collaboration.
-Conduct technical assessments to support decision-making.
-Oversee product development and deployment activities.
-Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements:
-Active TS/SCI clearance
Education and experience
-Bachelor's degree in Program/Project Management, Information Systems,
Business Management, or another related field.
-PMP Certification (preferred)
-8+ years of experience related to the execution and management of
medium to large-scale Information Technology (IT) Projects.
-5+ years of DoD Information Technology Experience
-3+ years of supporting policy development and requirements generation.
-Demonstrated experience engaging with a wide range of stakeholders,
including customers, partners, internal staff, and business associates,
to ensure proper project definition, implementation, and monitoring.

Technical Skills:
-Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft
Project, JIRA).
-Knowledge of financial planning and budgeting tools.
-Familiarity with systems engineering processes and documentation.
-Experience with procurement and asset management systems.
-Ability to produce technical documentation and reports.
-Knowledge of software development and deployment processes.
-Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
Preferred Key Skills and Abilities (not contractually required):
-Familiarity with industry-specific frameworks (ITIL, COBIT 2019, TOGAF,
PMBOK etc.)
-Experience working with Special Access Programs, the OSD, Joint Staff
or Service Staff level.
-Experience leveraging business understanding and experience to
effectively prioritize the team and project activities.
-Experience understanding organizational needs, proposing solutions, and
managing project execution efforts designed to deliver overall program
benefits.
-Experience collaborating with US Government Agencies and commercial
entities to develop IT service program maturity in accordance with
Federal IT mandates and best practices.
