Security Clearance:
- US Citizen with an active Top Secret Clearance/SCI is required for this
position. This position supports a government contract
The DevSecOps engineer is embedded in a multidisciplinary implementation team.
This team is tasked with creating and deploying solutions under tight time
frames. The team supports the United States Department of Defense.
The ideal candidate will be a battle hardened DevSecOps or site reliability
engineer. They will be flexible and willing to learn. They will gain a little
expertise in all of the team
s roles in order to better integrate.
This position is part of an implementation team. The team members possess
DevOps, security, and software engineering skill sets. Everyone wears multiple
hats and works together without silos in order to get the job done.
Responsibilities: Day to Day responsibilities include providing technical
guidance and contributing to architecture, establishing and expanding DevOps
capabilities in conjunction with the Delivery team to improve the efficiency
of the team and customer users.
Responsible for developing continuous delivery pipelines and software tools to
automate cloud-based solutions, building and running production
infrastructure, implementing and supporting CI/CD pipelines, and setting up
monitoring and tracking tools to support customer/developer teams.
Experienced in a predominantly fast-paced prototyping work tempo backed by
occasional routine enterprise development and documentation tasks depending on
the week.

Skills & Requirements
BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or technical degree; or industry
experience equivalent
3 years demonstrated experience in:
- Cloud Native Applications Development practices, tools, and automation
- Microservices Decomposition
- Istio Service Mesh
- Terraform
- Kubernetes
- 5 years demonstrated experience providing technical guidance to other
engineers on automation/build tools
- 5 years demonstrated experience in DevOps:
- Automation/Build tools
- Version Control, CI/CD, CM, Monitoring tools
Certification
- DoD 8570.01-M, IASAE Level II
- Certified Kubernetes Applications Developer (CKAD)
Sr Level - 5+ years of experience
Principal - 8+ years of experience
